Itsy Bitsy has Certificated Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) to help with your breastfeeding needs.
A lactation educator will ensure that each nursing mother has the breastfeeding support she needs, to establish a healthy/happy breastfeeding relationship from the start. Lactation Educators can be requested in conjunction with our newborn care services.
While breast/chest feeding seems simple enough, the techniques and components involved can be very challenging. We give you the education you need on everything from the milk composition to latching and even what pump to buy and how it works. We troubleshoot problems that may arise and even recommend IBCLCs when appropriate. The best way to minimize problems with breast/chest feeding is to get a solid foundation from the beginning; with knowledge, understanding and compassion.
